Ian Adams

Ian Adams earned his Ph.D. and is currently with the Ocean Sciences Division, U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, Stennis Space Center, MS:

Adams, Ian (Ph.D.) (2020): Modeling deep-dea hydrothermal plumes and the circulation pattern of the Endeavour Ridge Segment

trevor

Trevor Richards (M.S. 2018) is now working toward his Ph.D. at the University of Georgia.

Jared Jared McKnight (Ph.D. 2016). He is currently employed as an oceanographer for the Army Corp. A link to his thesis will be available shortly.

guangyu Guangyu Xu (M.S. 2010): The investigation of hydrothermal plumes by the acoustic scintillation method. Guangyu obtained his PhD from Rutgers University and is currently a post-doc at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute.

paul  Paul McKay (Ph.D. 2008): Temporal and spatial variability of transport and mixing mechanisms using heat and salt in the Duplin River, Georgia. Paul worked for the Naval Research Laboratory at Stennis as an Oceanographer and passed away way too early November 5, 2013 at home in New Orleans. We miss you Paul!

Doyle Katherine Doyle (M.S. 2007): Spatial and temporal distributions of pelagic biota using hydroacoustic surveying at Gra's Reef National Marine Sanctuary, Georgia. Kate is currently a research professional at Skidaway Institute of Oceanography after having spent many years at Savannah State University as a research professional.

kang  Ki Ryong Kang (Ph.D. 2005): Waves, turbulence and circulation in the Altamaha River Estuary, Georgia. Ki-Ryong is currently working with the Korean Meteorologica Administration, Seoul, South Korea.

Alan  Alan Dodd Barton (M.S. 2002): Multipath tracking and acoustical oceanography measurements in a stratified coastal tidal channel.  Alan moved to the west coast and is now the Production Manager and Research Coordinator of the Whiskey Creek Shellfish Hatchery where he studies (among other things) ocean acidification effects on oysters.
